THE LODGE NANTAHALA RIVER

The Lodge Nantahala River has 10 rooms, each with a private entrance and mountain views. The Apartment with Mountain View includes a kitchenette with a hot plate, microwave, sink, and full-size coffee machine. Bathrooms in these apartments at The Lodge have a retractable clothesline and a heating feature that dries swimsuits overnight.

The Lodge supplies firewood, charcoal, and s'mores kits at multiple fire pits with seating for guests. A Blackstone flat-top grill, outdoor grills, picnic tables, and cornhole boards are set up in the barbecue area. Each room at The Lodge opens onto a covered porch with rocking chairs and gliders, and a creek runs alongside the property.

The lodge sits across the road from the Nantahala River in the Nantahala National Forest. Endless River Adventures is an 8-minute walk away, Nantahala Outdoor Center and River's End Restaurant are 3 miles away, and Smoky Mountain Jet Boats is 10 km from the property. The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad is 25 km away, McGhee Tyson Airport is 130 km away, and Bryson City is 18 minutes from the lodge.

Guests can kayak or canoe in the surrounding area, and the lodge is close to tubing, rafting, and ziplining outfitters such as Nantahala Outdoor Center.
